Using Nero 6 , i have burned the given cD of the movie for me.the extension was AVSEQ1.dat(Data file).this file was converted to VCD file using nero from the option create a VCD .when i play it on DVD player, it will not play.i do not why.Can anyone tell me how to convert a *.dat file into VCD file and play it on DVD player. i have sony DVD player.there is any other way to convert it and play
All VCD's look the same. You cd should have a cd with the these folders on it EXT MPEGAV SEGMENT VCD You have to burn your cd with the VCD app. There is the possibility that you dvd player doesn't support VCD. You could try SVCD but I doubt that would work because VCD is more common.
