Convert cutted MPEG file to DAT file.

    I have cutted MPEG file, which open only in Xing player,not in Windows Media player. How to convert this file to DAT or real MPEG format file.

    Strange that WMP doesn't read it. Maybe you have a 'riff file' which comes from a SVCD (and, confusing, is called AVSEQ01.MPG and not AVSEQ01.DAT like the movies which are into a VCD).
    I would try to make mpeg --> mpeg with VCDGear, first. I'm afreid you don't have a 'true mpeg' but a 'riff file'.
    After you converted it, try to make a cue/bin for a SVCD (since I suppose it is a MPEG-2 'riff file') using as usual VCDGear (NOT Nero).
