Convert dvd so it can fit on a cd-r HOW?? (high quality)

    HOW CAN I CONVERT A VOB FILE TO MAKE IT SMALLER BUT KEEP SAME DVD QUALITY?

    Well, I'd doubt you're gonna get dvd quality on a cd-r and at that just on one cd-r!!!

    However to obtain very high quality try encoding as vbr instead of cbr svcd (min:300, max:2450 average:1600). Approx 1 hour will fit on a 700mb cd-r and if you use the right programs, try 4 pass encoding and the quality will be very very near that of dvd.
