Convert .mpg tp .avi

    I'd like to know how to convert mpg to avi... i want to watch a movie on my TV and my dvd player has DivX so...ya. I tried alltoAvi but it says that theres no info on my mpg and i have to enter it myself...i dont know what all the parameters are...so is there an easier way to do this? Thanx a bunch.

    'Any Video Converter' can convert MPG to AVI (XviD)
    Load the file, select the profile, press 'Encode'.

    Scroll down the page to the free version.
    After each conversion there is a mild nag to buy the Pro version.
