Wasn't sure where to post this. I currently rip all my DVD's to a couple media servers that I access with Xboxes running XBMC. I have always ripped the movies as IFO's and VOB's using DVD Shrink, but XBMC is capable of playing ISO files. I am considering converting all my TV show rips to ISO since it's single file format would be much easier to navigate with XBMC rather than having to drill down through folders to the VIDEO_TS.IFO file to play a show. I know DVD Shrink can do ISO's, but I was wondering is there was some better software for doing this. I have hundreds of shows that would need converted and I would obviously prefer something that could do batches at a time. Also, since the movie is already ripped, how long would the conversion process take for each show (each show is about 1GB). I don't know a lot about video files, but I'm hoping that since the video has already been ripped, converting to ISO would be much quicker than the original rip. Is that correct?
well i have no idea what XBMC is, im gonna guess its xbox media center or something. you can use folder2iso, but i have found it takes a while to convert. maybe some other solution, but that is how i would do it. GooD Luck
