you can use the save manager that comes built in with the M3 Game Manager. Basically, if you know which title it is for, double click on it and it will open up the save game manager I haven't used it enough to be able to document it, but im sure mr_hanky or someone else knows how to do it!
Yeah I've been trying to figure that out, but the M3 instructions are in such bad english. So yeah if anyone can give me a walkthrough on how to do it, that would be sweet.
Open the Gamemanager and find your CF/SD on the left window, now browse to the folder where your games are so a list of the games appears in the right window, double click on the game you want to change the save for and the save manager will open. There should be a list of save files that work with the game (usually theres only one) choose the save file you want to overwrite and click 'Write Save' find you .sav and click Ok. If you want you can do read sav to make a backup .sav of your current game. Also, make sure that the M3 does not have the save your altering in it's SRAM, otherwise it will overwrite your new save when you turn it back on, to clear the SRAM, just turn the M3 on, wait till it has finished saying that it is backing up your save, and turn it off again.
I have a GBA game on the root of my flash drive. Then I have the save in the GAMESAVES folder M3 creates. I selected my game in the game manager, but no saves come up. Is there something I'm missing? I do have a saved game on there I've made sure it saved and wasn't in the M3 memory.
try creating a save for it through the M3 Game Manager.. and then restore the .sav file onto the save u just made. There should be a "create backup" button somewhere.. once you click that itll ask you for a name. You can name it anything, because it will only come up whenever you selet that specific rom
