convert to duel layer

hi i want to convert my blue ray films onto duel layer discs,but i want them to play on a normal dvd player. i think i need to use a converter software program. i shrink the bray films using bd rebuilder (approx now 5 gb) so now i need to convert it to vod files etc. can you give me some tips on the best software to use to encode and burn in one go. pref one that lets you adjust the finished size of it cheers
