convert wave(cd) to mp3 Yes newbie

What is a good program for converting my cd collection to mp3 format for storage on my pc.

for paid winamp is simple

But if you don't have the orignal cd and the music files you want to convert are in another format then just download dbpoweramp which is a converter. Just google the name.
