i have a casio keyboard that uses a smart card to teach you how to play music the problem i have is that it has to be in midi format in order to be transformed to the casio format i have a program called IntelliScore Polyphonic Edition 6.0 and WAV to MIDI - Digital Ear, Real Time v4.01, WAV2MIDI Conversion. i can not remember which program that i used and how i done it, but you could get the instrumental of any song, down load it to midi and transfer it to the smart card and it would play just as it sounded. when i tried again i couldnt do it. can anyone help? thanks
I've tried wav to midi conversion in the past, and unfortunately it's a very hard conversion, especially if your original file has vocals. The best you can hope for is to run it through a vocal remover (medium success at best in my experience) and then run that through your wav to midi converter. It still probably won't be as good as an original midi of the audio. Reccomendation in this case would be to find a midi rather than converting.
that is my point i had the midi sounding just like the wave at one time with one of these programs, its been about a year and i forgot how i did it? guess i'll keep tring. thanks anyway.
