I d/l a couple of movies converted and put on dvd....now the movies are working fine but the sound is off track on one movie and the other movie the sound is scratchey about 1/2 the way through it....what am I doing wrong?
The audio is out of sync. Use the gspot codec application to verify the Avi's fps / resolution etc before you stick it into a transcoder (Avi to dvd program). Download from - http://www.headbands.com/gspot/ Where you see "fps" ie 25 - 29.97 - 23... thats the format the avi was encoded in. When you find this information open up the encoder and select the correct profile to use with the avi file. 25 fps = PAL UK 29.97, 23... = NTSC America for other countries visit - http://www.anythingleft-handed.co.uk/pal_ntsc.html Once the correct profile is used with the avi there shouldnt be any sync problems. If you get any other audio problems search here or use www.videohelp.com for tutorials on fixing audio etc. Hope this helps Dan
hi,, can somebody please help me, im a bit of of a new user, i downlaoded a few movies from the net and they are in AVI format, how can i convert the movies to one blank dvd disk and make it work on my home dvd player? and if possible i would like to convert the avi files to dvd format quickly. also i would like to add chapters and menu and titles screens and also subtitles to the movies, if anybody knows then please help me, i would be greatful. also please can you tell me he best program for downloadin music and videos. thank you very much, like i said im a new user and i would really like your help, thanks
