I have read all the threads and posts about converting aa file to mp3 or wav and am yet to have it work. I am using River Past Audio Converter Pro 6.12 as suggested. When I load the aa file this is the message I recieve " The following files do not contain reconizable audio. Please select the files to see more information." If anyone knows how to convert these aa files to mp3 or wav so I can listen on my mp3 player, please inform me. Thanks for the help.

use dBPowerAMP...its a great free audio converter utility. Be sure to install the LAME mp3 and aa audio codec plugins from the codec-central part of dBPowerAMP's website. You can find the link to dBPowerAMP's webpage in my sig below...

The CODEC required to decompress 'C:\Documents and Settings\God\Desktop\OpieandAnthonyMay32006_mp332_stm2tmm23.aa' could not be opened.
DirectShow filter for '.aa' not installed, or Audio File Corrupt.

thats the error i get after following your directions.
