I downloaded some movie files that play correctly in Windows Movie Maker but they possess a file extension that i am unfamiliar with known as .asx. I asked a friend how to convert .asx files to avi,mpeg,etc. and he told me that i would need TMPGEnc or ASF Tools etc. but neither allow me to load the video source in the first place. If anyone could help at all it would be greatly appreciated.
