Converting Avi to Dvd problem

Hello everyone! I have a problem I am hoping someone can help me with. I downloaded a movie in Avi format and used Cucusoft Avi to Dvd converter. Everything went smoothy with the converting and burning process the only problem is, the dvd won't play in my dvd player. Is there another program or method I can use to convert my movie and have it play properly?

Try this (free). Use HCenc encoder set to best. The end result is about as good as it gets.
