I am having trouble converting a file. I have downloaded the pink panther and cannot convert to dvd. I usually use vso divxtodvd but it converts less than half and says its complete. I have tried using tmpgenc but it will not load the file, what are the correct enviromental settings to load an avi file in??

On Main Page of TMPGEnc, Options>Environmental Settings>VFAPI plug-in and raise Directshow Multimedia File Reader priority to 2 by right-clicking on it.

    Hi there,

    DivxToDVD is no longer supported.

ConvertXtoDVD v2.0 has replaced it, and has improved alot since.

Try to convert it with the latest version of ConvertXtoDVD and provide us a full log !

I think maybe you have no properly avi codec on your PC, you may check it. If possible, you can reinstall a divx/xvid codec, and then do the avi to dvd conversion again!
Btw, winavi video converter can do the conversion perfectly. You can download a free trial version to have a try.
