    Hello all,

Me and my wife just had our wedding filmed on Hi-Def Blu-Ray and I was wondering what would be the best method to convert it to standard DVD, assuming I buy a Blu-Ray Drive for my PC.

We have several people that we want to send them copies but like most people they don't own a Blu-Ray player.

I would like to achieve this without losing much of the picture quality. I am not afraid of long and complicated guides as I have a strong tech background. Any help on this would be very much appreciated.

    Thanks!

I don't see how AnyDVD HD would help me convert the Blu-Ray to standard DVD. I know it can remove the copy protection but that's all right? I would still need a way to rip and re-encode.

What I think N2DVD means is that you can use ANYDVD HD to rip the disc to you HD, if you buy a Blu-Ray drive for your computer.

Then you need to do the conversion to standard DVD format with another program. I don't know if ANYDVD will do it as I don't have the program.

Look though this forum and/or search for blu-ray to dvd(and variations).

Did a quick look myself and didn't find anything specific though I know I saw something a month or so ago.

AnyDVD will only remove the copy protection, I've been using it for years. Amazing how people will reply with useless information. If you don't have a solution then no need to reply.

For anyone else looking for a similar solution I found some info here:

    Can I burn a Blu-Ray to a DVD?
