Converting Digital pictures to DVD slide shows

What is the best software to use to convert digital pictures/camcorder movies to video shows on DVD? Any suggestion is helpful. I have used Sonic mYDVD version 4.0 before but it does not have the transitions I would like.

Have you tried ProShowGold? www.photodex.com It includes some 280 transitions

 

I have to say thus far i am most impressed with photo2dvd.
