Hi I have a Jazz camcorder, and it takes its videos in AVC but in a .avi package, I wanted to use my camcorder as a little movie player and convert a Divx movie to the same format it creates, so i could then watch movies on it. is there any converters out there that can do this, also the audio is ADPCM. thanks

Try VirtualDub and FFDSHOW to set the Video compression as H.264 and the Audio compression as Microsoft ADPCM, then save the file as .avi

    http://www.afterdawn.com/software/video_software/video_tools/virtualdub.cfm

    http://www.afterdawn.com/guides/archive/ffdshow_install_configure.cfm
Remember to enable H.264 (vfw configuration).

    Run VirtualDub.
Load/drag the DivX file into VirtualDub.

Click Audio > Full Processing > Compression > Microsoft ADPCM

    Click Video > Full Processing > Compression > FFDSHOW > H.264

Click File > Save as AVI.

    Good luck.

Compare the files in MediaInfo or GSpot to see the difference.
