converting files

    i have dl'ed multiple dvd decripters and when i try to copy a dvd it is like 2 seperate folders (audio and video) and multiple files in each. i am wanting to find out how to make just one file so i can burn, please help

    What exactly are you trying to do?
    If you're trying to backup a DVD, then you have the correct files to do so.
    If it's something else that you want like AVI or WMV, you need to tell us.

    It's possible to combine the video files (designated .VOB) - but when written to disk, it will not be a playable DVD movie disk - it will be a data disk that may or may not play on a PC.
    It will not have a menu.
    If you wish to join the video into one large file, download and run VOB2MPG.

    yeah. i work offshore and we live on movies, so many people come on the boat with movies on their laptop. i have nero express to put them on disk but just didnt know how to make a dvd i put in the computer one file. i also can download movies on limewire but they are ipod files (mp4) so i am also trying to convert them from mp4 to avis. thank ya'll for your feedback
