Hi! I've just bought a JVC MC500, which records directly to a 4 gb hard disc. The software supplied doesn't run on my computer. I can save the files to my computer, they are mpeg2 format, but the file ext. is .mod. None of my programs can open them. Does anyone know how I can convert the file ext. to mp2, please?
    Ta! Ianto.

Try cyberlinks powerdirector, i hear it can handle .mod files.
also did you try renaming the .mod file to .mpg or .mpeg see if that will work.
    Good Luck
