My son sent me a video file ( MOV ) but the camera was on it's side so the film plays on it's side ! I know that Windows Movie maker is capable of turning the video thru 90 degrees, but how do I get Win Movie maker to accept a MOV file
I've never used Windows Movie Maker myself, but I took time to check. Seems that the program does not accept .mov, but many other formats (e.g. avi, wmv, mpeg). So all you need is to find a video converter to convert the mov into one of the formats that WMM would accept. If you care for freeware, try MediCoder: http://mediacoder.sourceforge.net/ Good luck!
yes scf_au is right, mov always can be palyed by Quicktime Player and other , if you want to use Win Movie maker you can use some video converter you can google Pocket Video Converter there will be many converter can convert mov to wmv, wma, etc good luck
