Ive got a problem converting one of my old tv series, one of the episodes are in avi and i want to convert it to mpeg so that i can put it on dvd but midway through converting, whatever software i use states that my avi is faulty and cuts off converting at approx 60-80% complete. Any ideas guys???????? I have used winavi, cucusoft, tmpgenc 2.5, divxtodvd.
This may or may not work for your avi but it's worth a try. When I had a problem with TMPGEnc stopping at a certain percentage, several times, it was suggested to try DivFix to cut out the errors and it worked.
