converting vcd to avi

    hey, i've been searching and i can't find a method of converting a vcd i have back to avi format. is it possible? and what do i need to do it? thanx in advanced!

    Try e.g. Power Video Converter or Advanced X Video Converter.

    Back to avi? If the source was an avi, don't expect to get the original quality back. If anything the quality is going to go down.
    Rip the dat to an mpg using say VCDGear, then you can open and encode with VirtualDub/Mod.
