ok, so i've downloaded the first season of surface from bittorrents and I want to burn them to dvd using NERO. I thought they were an .avi file but when I check the property tab it lists them as a video file. What program should I use to convert them to burn to dvd? I would appreciate any help as I'm new at this. Thanks!!
so when you're at work and you set your vcr to record that program you don't want to miss, are you or are you not committing video piracey? You now have a copy that you can watch over and over regardless of whether it's on tape or disc. I merely want to save to disc a tv season that is not currently available on dvd yet, so that it's not taking up valuable hard drive space on my computer. Rest assured that I do intend to buy this when it comes out on dvd. Also, with all of the posts concerning people having problems burning this or that movie(which just came out) why are you choosing to bother with my post? Shouldn't you be responding to all of those people that are trying to burn movies that ARE on dvd rather then someone who wants to preserve something that's not? Thanks for nothing man!!!
No problem, as for helping others, most of them have already been helped. Since you stated that you have it on VHS already, why not watch it on VHS?
Go buy convertxtodvd and use that to convert them into dvd format. It can even burn as it has its own burn engine. Also if your going into this are make sure to d/l the latest k-lite codec pack. Also check the file with gspot which is included with the k-lite to make sure the file isnt corrupt..:>
For MPEG to DVD I use TMPGEnc DVD Author http://www.pegasys-inc.com/en/download/tda16.html Thirty day trial and simple to use.
Yes I like TMPGenc DVD Author better than DVD-lab It is faster and the actual video comes out better. Menues are a lot better in DVD-Lab. But with a little tweaking in TMPGenc I got the look that I wanted.
