I have some PAL VOB files that I need to convert onto NTSC MPEG-2. For that I need to demux the files and separate the MPEG2 and WAV, which will need separate handling. The MPEG will be converted to NTSC and the WAV levels will be increased. I already used, as I always do, VirtualDubMod to demux the wav file. But I don't know if I can get an MPEG file from VDM too. Can I? How? What other program can I use that can provide those files? In the past I always used TMPGEnc DVD Author for that conversion, but this time the program asks me for an ifo file which I do not have. I only have the vob files. Suggestions?
Well I don't know if the demuxing is needed. But this should do it. http://www.videohelp.com/tools?tool=Vobrator If it's IFO's you need try this: http://www.ifoedit.com/createifo094.html If you have NeroVision Express you could simply import the VOB's into it and see if the end results (converting to NTSC) suits you. You could also add the VOB's to VSO's ConvertXtoDVD and see how it goes.
