I believe you have to convert the WMV file to an AVI file, encode this file then author it and burn to DVD. Also I have noticed that the WMV file ends up producing a inferior quality in the end. Better to start with AVI file.
Hi, You can use VSODivxToDVD to convert the .wmv to dvd-compliant files. Then use a burning app (such as Nero) to burn the files on to a dvd-r.... You can download it from here: http://www.afterdawn.com/software/video_software/video_encoders/vso_divxtodvd.cfm If you need a guide, here's one: http://home.comcast.net/~bbmayo/AVItoDVD.html Be sure to thank Bbmayo for his guides... The audio might be out of sync in some cases since it will force it to be 29.97 fps....
Just for my own knowledge, isn't WMV file inferior in quality compared to AVI file? A question I have is afetr I edit my captured file, and then I save it as AVI file, why is the Audio & video out of sync, and how do I fix this?
Yes, but there may be some are in good quality if the file was not compressed. Many people use VirtualDub to modify the video and audio of the media file. I'm unfamiliar operating VirtualDub, but you can search for threads/guides that can solve your problems.
