Ive been tryin to convert an xvid file into a mpg so i can burn it as a vcd. I dont know if its really a xvid though. The file description is like this: "[bold]filenamexvid.avi"[/bold]... so is it a xvid or avi??? and when i encoded it to an mpg and burned it to a cd and played it on my dvd player the video was choppy and it had green squares, etc. How can i get rid of this problem??........the sound is fine and everything except the video??? how can i fix this???

Well we might need a Little More info than that Like what did you use to Encode it to Mpeg and whay setting did you use??? You should also write down the Files Specifications like it"s 'Format(Codec if it isn"t XviD) it"s resolution , It"s Frame Rate and the "Audio Format"...You can get most of this Information by right clicking the File and going to Properties, and you should also let us know if you live in a Pal or NTSC Country...Cheers

why don't you find a program called G-SPOT and see what info it tells you from your file.
