Converting..

    Hello, im new to this forum. I need to know how to convert .BUP .VOB and .INF files to .AVI files and still have good quality, can some one help me please? thanks.

    Well; telling by the file extensions you mentioned; it looks like you want to convert dvd video files into an AVI;;;;;well; that isn't very hard to do;;;just google 'dvd to avi' and it'll come up with A TON of programs for you to choose from....

    The one that I've used before; is the Xilisioft Video Converter; and it did just fine for me...

    Can you or some one else write/direct me to a guide for noobs on how to convert DVD Video files (.BUP, .VOB and .INF) into .AVI files? using Xilisoft Video Converter? or another program? like AutoGK? Thanks!

    If you have Nero Vision Express, try this:

    Click MakeDVD > DVD Video > Import Disc.

    The file is saved as an mpeg file.

    Click Export > Select Export Template > Custom

    I select: AVI NTSC 400x320 and for the Video compressor:XVID Mpeg4
    then click Export.

    I find the output quite good for viewing on the PC.

    I think you had a DVD folder,in the folder there the files,right?
    Then you can try a easy way,use winavi just to convert .VOB file to AVI,that's ok.Don't need to consider about others.
