Hello: My problem is so weird to me that someone must know what the solution to it is. When I burn an AVI to a DVD using ConvertX, certain AVI files seem to get their audio sped up quite a bit. It sounds like someone running a 33 1/3 record on 45, and the audio ends around at 65%, the video keeps running though. I have run into about a dozen or so AVIs that do this but all others seem to burn and work fine. Anyone have any advice or ideas for me to get these AVIs properly saved to DVD? Thanks!!
I haven't used ConvertX for years, but you shouldn't burn the disk immediately after the conversion. Playback the output files first. Take one of the source AVI files that failed and convert it again - uncheck any option to burn the disk or delete files. If the audio is bad, start again, but under the Audio tab, either check or uncheck "Don't check/fix audio discontinuities" and see if it makes a difference( I can't remember the default setting). If that has no effect, VSO have a forum that will help.
