Hi, i'm having a problem converting some avi files using ConvertXtoDVD.

After the conversion i get this error message: exception raised in conversion Thread with message "Cannot create file C:\Documents and Settings\My Documents\file name etc.

There's no ifo or bup files in the output folder, i've tried creating them using ifo edit but it gives me this message: "Cannot find any VOB units in VOB file"

The output files play with no problems and shows as VOB files when loaded into GSpot, thank you for any help or advice.

did you keep destination folder same as vobs in ifoedit?

try uninstall convertx and install again?

does seem wierd? how much hard drive space you got left?

Yes i saved them to the same folder in ifoedit, that's when i get the message can't find VOB units in VOB file.

I have 113GB left on a 320GB hard drive and will try a reinstall but its working with some smaller files.

I seem to have found the problem, some of the files had long titles and contained unicode characters, i shortened and renamed the files and it's working.

I havin't used ConvertXtoDVD for i while and i don't know why i didn't think of it, never had this problem with ConvertXtoDVD before though?, thanks for your help.
