I am running a Pentium D 940 processor. When I start up ConvertXtoDVD, it runs at around 80fps for a second or two and then starts dropping down to around 60fps and stays there. What can I do to get it to stay around 80fps?

    Hi there,

    I have a P4 (3.2 Ghz) with 1.5 Gb RAM @533mhz

I always encode at High Quality, and never go 45fps, 50fps. (1.20x, 1.3x)

That's pretty much the average I get.

I don't really pay attention, since I start a conversion and walk away :)

Come back after diner, and it's done :)
