My goal is to be able to take a dual-layer DVD, eliminate all special features, but preserve the main menu (to select things like sound options and chapter index menu). DVD Shrink has treated me well in cutting down the size of a DVD9, however, its authoring option does not support menus. It would also be nice if you made the mistake of selecting an option like 'deleted scenes', it would not crash the player, but have a CGP like in DVDFab that said "THE END" or "YOU IDIOT" then return to the main menu.
Try Clone DVD....if you select an option that you deleted from the disc, it will just bring up a gray screen that will play for then length of the deleted item. That way, you can just hit menu to return to the main menu and make a better selection...
CloneDVD is the program of everyone's dreams! That fixed all my problems in one simply application! Thanks for the tip, it is a beautiful piece of software.
