    hi bellatx5
i dont realy know if nero will read and burn at the same timebut if it will its not advisable as you only end up with coasters i allways
rip the disk to an iso file and then burn it.i tried the direct copy method on cd's and had coasters so i cant see it working on dvd's very well due to the vast amount of information to be moved and dvd disks are to expensive to be resting coffee cups on,but if nero will do a direct copy the box to tick or untick will be most likly in the dvd copy window it will say somthing like make iso file on hard drive then burn to disk or words to that affect.i dont use nero so i am not to familure with its workings, but if the box is there try it you never know.

    Hi,
The answer is yes. You can use nero to burn and read at the same time to save you time.
