copy blu-ray to my harddrive

    i'm wondering what program should i use to burn my blu-ray movie to the harddrive. i do have anydvd hd & a dvd burner that reads blu-ray and hd. i want to put this on my harddrive and then change the format to h264 ( and store all my movies )

    AnyDVD HD will do it for you, so will DVDFab Decrypter HD. Insert your BD, Right-click on the AnyDVD "fox icon" in your system tray and select Rip to Hard Disk.

    As for converting it H.264 that could be a little hard to do, as Blu-Ray is still fairly new not a lot of compatible software exists for it, especially transcoders. Google around and you might find something.

    i herd MeGUI does a good job at this ( any comments )

    MeGUI is a DVD Ripper, it supports a hell of a lot of formats/codecs but Blu-Ray isn't one of them.

    THANKS FOR THAT.then what program does everybody use to make H.264
    on the torrent sites ( from blu-ray & hd dvd )Can somebody please tell me what is the best program to use for this

    I'm really not sure mate, very few people have Blu-Ray/HD drives for their computers and even fewer are bothering to back-up BD or HD-DVD discs now as 1, it's really not worth it considering the costs and 2, it's very hard.

    My knowledge on this is extremely limited, just look around mate you should find something. Sorry ;)
