copy DVD and take adverts out

    Can anyone tell me how to copy a DVD recorded from a TV programme, and take the adverts out. I have a PC (with DVD writer) and a Philips DVD recorder (under the TV)

    Is it fairly easy to use .... and is there any loss of quality ???
