I have an RCA combination vhs recorder/player - dvd recorder player in one unit. As discovered that I cannot copy copy protected vhs tapes, e.g. disney to dvds. I also have a Scientic Atlanta 8300HD box with a DVR. My question is: Could I play a copy protected VHS and record it to the DVR on the 8300HD and then subsequently record the recorded version to the DVR recorder on the combination unit or to A VHS tape on the combination unit. I hope I made myself clear.
