sorry if I should have posted this on the Nero forum. Will Nero 7 premium Reloaded tell me if an audio cd is copy-protected? rather than a failed burn? specific it is possibly EMI copy-protection and the cd and package should state copy protection but it is from a library and the notice might be covered by stickers. I would rather get the notice - copy protected disc - rather than attempting to burn it and burn failure. I have never tried to burn a c/p disc so I am not aware of the actual process someone told me it fails after 80 percent or something like that.
Nero will tell you if there is protection on the cd, most times it will circumvent this protection and the burn will be successful. In my "old machine", the nero version is 5.5.9.13 and copies on the fly with no probs at all. If you have doubts, choose "simulate" rather than write. This is time consuming, but at least you can be sure.
