Those 2 applications will do all that you stated without the extra steps.

target output should be 4.3-4400mb, that is the size of most retail blank media then burn. But whatever works for you.

dvdxcopyplatinum cannot do latest protection so you can than make it exact copy with clone the custom setting of clonedvd2 should be 8000mb to make it as the original without extra audio,so youmake it iso/udf to mounted the image. when you open dvd xcopplatinum the image is without protection and the compresion of platinum is 2 times better than clonedvd2 prove it and you see the quality when i make one of these clonedvd2 was 54% comprasion and in platinum without extra audio was 72% you see make it and you see.
i think is not the same job they make is it?

Being that dvdxcopy platinum is twice the cost of the combo of anydvd and clonedvd2 combined I think most would stay away from it. Also the extra steps you are using can be done with dvdrb w/ cce. not knocking the method you are using just most here no longer will purchase xcopy products. I used to use the software, still have on an old system but nowadays seems too much to use 2-3 extra programs to get a 'flawless' dvd. usually if you do movie only using clonedvd and anydvd your backup will be hard to differentiate from the original (mind you this is without the extras, trailers, etc and keeping the original menu). Just my opinion.
