I have recorded some TV shows onto my hard drive using Windows media center - now when i go to put them on a DVD so i can watch them on TV it tells me that it is copy right protected or somehting to that effect - is there something i can do? Any help would be great.

I have no idea what kind of files they are. In windows "Media Center" you click on record (much like a vcr) Once you have made your recording there is an option to copy to dvd - you just click on that and it should burn your recording to dvd.
