I have attempted to burn a copy created with dvdx copy platinum using dvd rescue. Everything happened the way it should but when attempting to play the dvd I get an 'unknown format' error. Any ideas? Ummmmm...........having said that, I think the original backup was copied onto a dvd-r. I copied it onto a dvd+r. Could this be the reason?
i had the same problem, a solution i can offer is to download clone dvd as this will copy any backup you have made using dvdxcopy very easily. i use dvdxcopy platinum to copy the origanals and then clonedvd to copy any backups with no problems at all
weslyons and dela, Thanks for your help. I ended up d/loading DVD Decrypter. What a super little app. I also d/loaded img tool and dvd shrink. Secretly, I'm kicking myself for buying Xcopy Platinum as these free apps. give me greater control over the finished article. Yeah, I'm a control freak.
