I just did it, backed up the disc to a CD-R. Put the CD-R in and installed the game. When it came to playing the game, it goes to a main menu (once you put disc in) and you click play and it asks you to insert the disc.

The way I burned the back was just by copying the files.

I burned PS2 games before but creating an ISO file, but I wasnt able to do that with this. Any sugestions.

I burned it with Nero Start Smart - Data DVD.

I tryed to copy it but theres a copyright protection on it.

When I copy all of the files then burn them to the CD-R, the CD-R is only 613mb and the original disc is 636mb and I cant work out why.

I have the exact same problem, I started another thread, so the mods can merge them if they want. It's really frustrating.

I kinda fixed it. I Downloaded a program called 'GameJack 4' which creats a virtual hard-drive (an emulator) and installs the game into that so that when you play that game, it thinks that you have put the disk in the hard-drive when really all you have done is copy the files.
