Have copied some dvd's using clonedvd with dvd region free. This took care of the encryption, though when playing the discs the film keeps on stoping (if you use fast forward it will advance and then start playing again for a few minuites before it stops again.) I am copying direct from dvd rom to LG 4040 burner, using +R x 4 discs, oith windows XP home. Have also copied the same but using pinnacle instant dvd with dvd region free running. This took about 2.5hours,to copy, this seems to work ok on a toshiba multiregion player, but not on a cheap region 2 player. This would not read the disc at all. The copying time when using pinaccle instant dvd seems excesive. During the copying process it visable scans all through the film before it copies it to the disc. Using clonedvd it took just over 40 minuites, yet i cannot watch it! As i now have a number of coasters. Any advice would be most most appreciated as it gets a bit expensive making dvd coasters. My aim with this process is to make a backup copy of a film. Thanks Andy
