First off, can xbox games be played directly from a pc through an FXP server? (I have flashfxp). Second, can I copy an .iso file onto the xbox hard drive and play it directly from there. I'm using an evolution x dash, and have been searching forums and the net for an evolution guide . Any help or direction to turorials on this would be appreciated.

My whole point for this is for games that are too large for disk. I was thinking I could just load them onto the xbox hard drive and play them off of there. Unless anyone else has other, better, ideas for this.

Do you have HDDloader apps in your xbox? if so, load it up then put the game you rented into xbox and press B to copy it to xbox HDD.

In case you dont have it. Extract the iso you have to a folder (name it as same name with the game). Then transfer that folder to xbox HDD where are the game directory like Games or HDDloader.

no hdd loader that i know of. unless its somewhere included in the evolution i installed but i don't see it. any specific names to look for or just hdd loader?
even without the loader, i figured I might be able to create the game folder, but I'm not seeing where to put it. There is a "launch menu" then "games" option on evolution dash. Is this pulling the game where a specific drive? or folder? not sure what exactly they are when looking at hard drive on fxp.

Connect xbox to pc then use flashfxp. You will see partitions: C, D, E ,F,X,Y,Z. The F is depend on how big is your xbox hdd. If your xbox HDD is bigger than 8GB you will see the F.

    Case 1 NO F partition:
on flashfxp and on xbox side. goto C and E drive. Tell me what you have in there

    Case 2 With F partition:
on flashfxp and on xbox side. goto F drive. Tell me what you have in there

So you dont have F drive.

Create a folder name Games on root of E drive
Ftp the evox.ini on C to PC. open it with notepad and paste here.

I will help you to create a launch game menu on Evox.

    Ok it is good.
did you create a folder "games" on root of E drive?
Do you have the game that you want to play on xbox hdd? IF so is it on PC or DVD?

games folder is created. I have ninja gaiden black .iso file on pc. start with that?

    TheReturn Guest

extract ninja gaiden black.iso to a folder and rename the folder "ninja gaiden black" then transfer it to xbox E:\games\

When it is done, you should see like this E:\games\ninja gaiden black
Reboot xbox, select Launch Menu then Games. you will see ninja gaiden black. Click on it to launch.

The second way to copy game to Xbox HDD by using game on DVD.

Insert game into xbox's DVD. Do not play. The evox dash board is still there.
Use flashfxp to talk to xbox. Goto D drive. you will see everything on the DVD game.
Transfer everything to a folder on pc
Rename the folder as same name of the game
    Transfer it back to E:\games\

    Done.
