First off, I'm a computer moron, so please be gentle.....I'm trying to wade through all the jargon to find an easy way to select certain segments from a dvd and copy only those. (Daughter's dance recital DVDs. There's LOTS and LOTS of performances on the originals, and I want to make a compilation DVD of just the pieces she danced in for the past few recitals.) Is there an easy and moron-proof way to do this? I have Roxio Creator 6 software, which seems to be a pretty basic copying format only. I'm sure there must be a way/software to do this that even poor little UN-computer savvy me can handle. Any suggestions?
cyncyn i know dvd shrink can do it and also nero recode. shrink is free. heres a guide. http://www.dvdplusvideo.com/clips_guide2.html heres where to get shrink http://www.afterdawn.com/software/ i dont know if theres a guide on recode but its not freeware anyway but they are both pretty close in working the same way
