copying pc games

    I hope I am posting in the right forum. Can I make copies of pc games (yes they are mine) on dvd-r's or what type of media do I need, also what software do I need to burn it. Currently I use dvd shrink and nero to make backups of my movies. Any info would be appreciated.

    i would just use cd-r's, they're alot cheaper

    what software would I need, dont I need something to remove the encryption like with dvd's?

    Use Alcohol 120. It has a pull down menu to select the encryption process to use to make the image of the CD.

    what i mean by shrink is any freeware or do I have to purchase software.
