Copying VCD discs

Here's an idle question I'd like an answer for, without burning up a few CDs experimenting...

I'm creating original VCDs, using DVD Workshop. If I want to make another copy of a VCD later on, do I need to keep the image file DVD Workshop creates around somewhere, or can I just stick the VCD in the drive, copy the directories over, and use, say, Nero to burn them back to a blank disc? That is, is there some special way the files are arranged on the disc that would get screwed up by a straight copy-and-burn? Or would Nero automatically take care of that if I asked it to create a VCD disc? (I haven't tried any of this yet, I just want to know if I can delete this image file safely.)

    TIA for help--

Nero should burn them perfectly so I wouldnt worry about it too much. But I would make a copy first just to make sure before I would delete that image!!
