I have followed the instructions line by line and when I get to this stage -> http://www.afterdawn.com/articles/archive/small_dvd_2_dvdr_page_3.cfm I dont have a file that has a ".DVD" extension....all others are there, ISO, BUP, VOB etc etc....do I have a set up wrong? the file won't have a .dvd extension. DVD contain vob, ifo, and bup. Don't use the iso, use the file mode as described in http://www.afterdawn.com/articles/archive/dvd-9_to_dvd-r_with_dvd2one_page_2.cfm This is a better way to do it. If your dvd is > 4.7gb (dvd9), then you will need to compress. If that is the situation, I would use dvd shrink which is free. Well when you rip the disc you should select Mode->ISO->Read and then at this point you should select the .MDS file. Here's a guide: http://users.auth.gr/~ichatzim/dvddecrypter.htm
