Anyone know what to do with DVDs that pop up a copyright error when trying to decode with DVD Shrink?...Someone once recommending starting up the DVD (Playing it simultaneously) and then decoding it but that didn't work either...Any suggestions?...Thanks

Sometimes this will happen in DVD Shrink but not Decrypter (which is another free program -- you might already have that one). So you might try Decrypter and see if it makes it through the whole DVD. A couple of DVDs I've had that Shrink couldn't finish, Decrypter could.

You could also try using DVD43 which is also free and can be found on this site. It removes the encryption from any dvd. It runs in the background and you can use DVDShrink after that.

Make sure you get the standalone version of dvd43 and not the one that requires Patin Couffin.
