as the title says...i came across copyright protection using dvd shrink today when trying to back up cat in the hat what do i need to do to get around this problem????
I think that should work. _X_X_X_X_X_[small]P4 2.8 Ghz 512 MB PC3200 400 MHZ 120 GB HD Toshiba 8x DVD Burner[/small]
Every once and a while A disc pops up that Shrink can't crack. I don't have Cat in the Hat and haven't heard anything about it, but you may have found one. Download DVD Decrypter and use it, it should crack it open like an egg.
Dvdnoob, download DVD43 completely free from this link at http://www.dvd43.com/ and you shouldn't have too many problems with DVD Shrink.

Shrink and Decrypter is all you need. If your going to get a program like dvd43 ... get AnyDVD($38) _X_X_X_X_X_[small]Dell 8250, Pentium 4 2.80GHz 1.5 GB RDRAM, 200GB HD TDK 840G, Sony DDU-1612 DVD-ROM XP Pro, ATI All-In-Wonder 9000 Pro[/small]
DVD43 is unneeded with Shrink. Decrypter and Shrink are all you need to do [bold]basic[/bold] backups.
AnyDVD from Slysoft works excellent for all CSS and Region protected dvd's, try it and let us know,,,
No need? Heh, I found that I need it it with DVD Shrink and Decrypter, especially when I back-up a lot of those very, very expensive Collectors Box Set DVDs from Japan. But I guess it depends on one's settings and all. I definitely need it, others may not, but it isn't bad to have it either considering what one wants to get done and with what means.
When I run into the copy protection error when using Shrink, I'll fire up DVD43, retry it and the problem goes away
I backed up The Cat in the Hat about a month ago. Didn't have any problems. I think I used Shrink and Nero, but I'm not entirely sure as I like to experiment with different methods. Except RB/CCE because life's to short. I'll just go away.........
