Corrupt Windows System

    i belive my windows system is corrupt and i want to erase all of the data and put in a fresh copy of windows. the problem is that there is alot of stuff on there that i want to keep. software, movies, music, etc. there is just sooooo much stuff and it will take me a long time and alot of discs to keep it. is there a way i can keep this stuff without copying it all on to discs? plz help. thanks in advanced.

    buy an external hard drive.

    or borrow a hard drive (if you dont have one of your own)

    but it in as slave
    transfer everything over

    reinstall

    copy everything back

    and then give the hard drive back

    or keep if bought because if external than can be used on other computers.

    Do a Window's System Restore. Go To Control Panel, Preformance and Maintenience, than on the left, click System Restore, Choose a earlier date when the system wasnt currupt and it should restore all settings and files to that date. Much Much easier, no need to buy loads of cd's/
