There is version A106 available for your firmware. Keeping the burner's firmware up to date increases compatibility with the media used. http://forum.rpc1.org/dl_firmware.php?download_id=1973 Ricoh are decent media, but for dual layer best option is Verbatim. Also, for burning DL I would suggest ImgBurn. It is much better than nero at dealing with the layer break. @Takatsuke In my first replay to you I highlighted in RED the firmware that you needed to update to...A106. Your burner now shows AN16.
